CBCC Summmer Camp
Clara
Barton Center for Children's ("CBCC") Summer Camp for
2-5 year olds makes full use of our large outside playgrounds,
nearby game fields and spacious air-conditioned classrooms.
Qualified preschool teachers organize and lead the camp sessions.
Each day begins with a group sing-a-long and flag-raising.
Activities include theme-based arts and crafts, music, lots
of water play, and cooking. A special performance will highlight
each session, including camp concerts with Tracey Eldridge,
our music teacher. Children bring their own lunch. We provide
milk and nutritious morning and afternoon snacks.
A choice of programs is offered:
•Half Day (8:00 a.m.-12:20 or 12:30 p.m.)
•Extended Day (8:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.)
•Full Day (8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.)
CBCC Summer Camp programs
value the process of thinking and planning involved in children's
work. Our teachers encourage self-initiative and independent
problem solving. Children will build meaningful relationships,
have fun in their group experiences, and learn to respect
individual differences at CBCC Summer Camp.
CBCC Summer Camp is
committed to providing a high quality program for children
ages two to five. The foremost concerns of the program are
the health, growth, and development of the whole child. CBCC
Summer Camp’s philosophy is that motivated children
learn best when given the opportunity for choice and self-direction.
Teachers carefully plan and structure an environment with
clear and consistent limits.
CBCC Summer Camp accepts
children without regard to race, religion or national origin.
